With over 35 years of playing together and of calling dances at events both large and small, George and his band will expertly guide your party through some of the best loved traditional Scottish dances.
Whether you know your Gay Gordons from your Strip the Willow, or are a complete novice, the George Buchanan Band is guaranteed to get everyone up and dancing.
Comprising just three members: Accordion, Fiddle/caller and Guitar, the George Buchanan Band play traditional Scottish dance music and can expand to include more musicians as required.
Equipped with their own high quality PA system, they have travelled the length and breadth of the country to play at all sorts of venues and events. From balls at Mansion House in London to Burn's Night celebrations in village halls, Hogmanay, birthday parties, street parties and events in schools such as Charterhouse and Oundle, the band pride themselves on choosing dances to suit the ability of the group.

Having played together for over thirty-five years with two or sometimes three gigs a week, we have covered a lot of ground and played in many venues, some large and magnificent and others small and comfortable.
